The first type of eagle with a crown and regimental numeral!
These eagles were produced by the Cracow Workshop, operating from 1913 to 1926, according to the design of Captain Czeslaw Jarnuszkiewicz. All series were first produced with a plain inner shield, on which the regimental number from "1" to "7" or the symbol of the weapon was later punched. In a way, this was a return to the 19th century tradition of placing the regimental numeral on eagle amazon shields.
In our current offering we have a beautiful series of such eagles, with regimental numbers from 1 to 4, as well as an eagle from the LP EOD Company?
The present piece from the 1st Infantry Regiment of the Polish Legions.
