By far the rarest variety of this denomination.
A banknote that is virtually uncommon in beautiful states of preservation, and the rarity of the type is evidenced by the fact that in Miłczak's price lists for circulated condition it has a clear threefold jump in value over most of the others.
The banknote is natural, folded in half, with minor edge weakness at the junction of the folding line with the top margin and minor imperfections in the margins.
All-natural.
Excellent.
It was issued by the Polish National Loan Bank, an institution established on 7.12.1918 after Poland regained its independence, as a transitional institution to be replaced by the Polish Bank proper. The banknote itself of this variety appears only in one overprint variant of the series, i.e. IA , and was printed at the B. Wierzbicki Printing Works, and judging by the very small number of pieces that have survived to this day, the circulation of this variety was probably negligible.
