The 1948 50 zloty "number" series are the rarest varieties of this denomination - uncommon even in clearly circulation-worn condition.
The present banknote is all-natural, without any preservation. It is a piece with virtually no signs of typical circulation wear, and has only been folded in half and half again.
Superbly preserved is the original smoothed paper texture with natural luster. The paper is naturally clean, with no surface dirt or internal discoloration. The relief of the print is well felt, and the ink has retained its luster.
The fracture lines are shown in the attached photo under the light. The fractures are non-marking, with no rubbing or soiling on the spines. There is a single small tear less than 2 mm deep in the upper margin. The corners are sharp, with the full freshness of an uncirculated piece preserved.
The quality of this bill will undoubtedly satisfy even the most advanced collectors.
An exceptional piece.
Definitely recommended.
