Block complete, in very good condition. Minor fading, mainly to marginal pages of individual volumes, including, for example, the title page. Interior pages mostly nice and clean. Block format 231 x 170 mm. Mechanically unremarkable, no damage.
Both volumes in a collectible period binding. Binding in half leather with marbled paper, with clear signs of use, rubbing of spine and corners, as seen in photos. The present appearance of the binding is the result of completely natural wear from use, with no unusual damage, also the whole has its "spirit of the era".
There is an old ownership signature on the pre-title page.
An attractive and rare item.
