Reference: Paszkiewicz N3.b, Kopicki 8990 (R2) Waszyński 36a i W.36.b

A mysterious issue brought to Polish numismatics by a treasure from Wielen.

A brakteate with a similar representation to the brakteates of the Teutonic Order (attributed to it by some researchers), but differing markedly in both the cut of the gate and its elements. A trillium rises at the top instead of a cross, while a ring decorated with a crown is visible in the clearance. Boris Paszkiewicz sees it as a reference to the iconography of the Moravian coins of Přemysl-Ottokar II, being a posthumous reference to this ruler.

According to Beyer, who compiled the excavation of the Wieleń site, which is a local product of the Polish princes.

Representation: a two-towered building topped with a trillium centrally, while in the clearance of the gate is a ring covered with a crown.

Silver, diameter 15.7 x 16.7 mm, weight 0.16 g.
