A rare thaler of the youngest of Augustus III's sons.
Clement became Archbishop of Trier and Bishop of Augsburg on February 10, 1768, minting both silver and gold coins. On some of them, as on the present thaler, he placed the titles: prince of Poland and Lithuania, prince of Saxony.
