A rare brakteate from the group of "Rataj" brakteates.

Depicting: head in front, with unspecified objects on the sides (twigs?), under an arch with three towers (a central one and two domed ones on the sides).

As interpreted by Witold Garbaczewski, this is a composition indicating "the prince's readiness and ability to provide protection to his subjects."

Complete with cards from an old collection.

Silver, diameter 18.5 mm, weight 0.17 g.
