A very rare three-circle coin of Jan Kazimierz, issued for the Duchy of Opole-Racibor, with the portrait and titular of the Polish king. The second year of this issue (started in 1657), being the first attainable mintage.

Portrait variety with a wider bust of the king.

Minor imperfection of the minting in the rim, but very well reflected and preserved royal bust. Patina. Nice presence.

IOAN - CAS - D : G - R - EX - P - & S - M - D L R - P -.

Reverse: crowned eagle to the left, not preceding the legend. In the rim:
* COIN - NOVA - REG - POLON - 1658.

A great rarity, and a historically interesting coin.

Silver, diameter 21 mm, weight 1.59 g.
