A very rare variety of the distinctive denarius of the Exile.
The variety is rare both because of the marks on the sides of the prince and the distinctive style of the drawings. Particularly striking here is the side with a knight positioned between the letters O and a recumbent T, with a triangular helmet and a shield with a double lag. On the page with the bishop, the lack of a headdress on him stands out.
Interestingly, this type was also recognized by its inclusion on the famous royal series of medals from the communist period (example here).
Nice detail, dark even patina, delicate bend mark with crack line.
Silver, diameter 13 mm, weight 0.44 g.
