A distinctive, valued type of Bydgoszcz thalers.
The royal bust is massive, with a large head, here in a very rare variety with plain armor (not decorated with panoplions), described in Dostych's catalog as a degree of rarity between R6-R7.
On the sides of the shield the initials G-G (of the mint's tenant, Gabriel Gerloff) and hooks. In the chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece, initials BS (of an unspecified engraver).
Nice state of preservation. A naturally circulated piece.
