A difficult to obtain ducat vintage.
This is an early type of ducats of King Stanislaw August, introduced in 1772. The obverse of the coin has been changed, on which the full figure of the king is replaced by his bust with a ribbon in his hair, facing to the right. The reverse, with minor changes (placing the date in a square), remains iconographically consistent.
At the bottom of the reverse are the initials of the mint's administrator, Antoni Partenstein.
