Scarce and pictorially attractive reverse type. There are two principal types of this reverse at Siscia with the emperor galloping left (type no. 98) or right (type no. 97) over enemy. Alfoldi then distinguishes a number of further variants depending on the position of the enemy and the presence or absence of a shield next to the enemy).

Obverse: IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG

Radiate bust left in consular robe, holding eagle-tipped sceptre (scipio)

Reverse: VIRTVS PROBI AVG / T / XXI

Emperor on horse to right spearing enemy.

Bilon, diameter 20,8 mm, weight 3,79 g.
