With the year 1548, the issue of pennies in Lithuania is extinguished for years. The first to return are those minted for the Lithuanian foot, in 1555, when the mint in Vilnius is taken over by Felix. It comes to wait for pennies for the Polish foot until 1566, when their issuance begins at the Tykocin mint. The first of these pennies are marked with the Jastrzębiec (Stanislaw Myszkowski) coat of arms, which still in that year gives way to the Gediminas' Pillars (with full compliance of the other features).

Portrait of the king with widely spread, long chin spikes(a rare, late type).

Piece characteristically, shallowly struck, in mint condition. Very nice.

Comes with an envelope from the "envelope collection".
