The last vintage of Danzig ducats of Sigismund III Vasa, minted in the year of his death.
A very pleasant and not heavily circulated ducat. Two light bending lines. Relief well preserved, coins without mechanical damage with natural, uncleaned surface and largely preserved especially on the reverse a light shine on the satin textured background.
Variety with a punctuation of the last digit of the date (from 1 to Z), with the reverse without crosses on the sides of the console of the coat of arms.
Gold, diameter 23 mm, weight 3.44 g.
Obverse: crowned bust of the king to the right, in armor, wearing a cuirass, with the Order of the Golden Fleece, in the rim:

Reverse: two lions supporting a cartouche with the city coat of arms on a console. At the bottom initials SB, at the top a wreath of leaves and twigs ending with a lily. In the rim:
