In 1597, a year after Bydgoszcz, two more mints managed by Herman Rüdiger join the minting of pennies. These are Poznań and Wschowa, which only mint this denomination for one year. The present penny is a representative of the Poznań mint. It is issued with a smaller bust, under which a flower has been placed, and two coat-of-arms shields (with Lewart and Rose) dividing the reverse legend.
Variety with RE-GN dividing.
