A very rare engraver's error - the second digit of the date is missing.
Piece in which a very narrow empty space was left between the Royal Apple and the arm of the cross. On the smooth surface of the background it is undeniable that the stamp did not even attempt to place a numeral there. At the top, only the ornaments of the cross, whose right arm is visible with a slight bounce of the stamp, where we do not think it is possible to cover the date numeral so perfectly.
