In Olkusz, trojaks made on a rolling mill represent only a small percentage of all trojaks struck with stamps, using the traditional hammer method. They were made between 1592 and 1593 and were characterized by mint marks: Axe (of the mintmaster, Kasper Rytkier) and sun.
The present trojak is the first vintage of these.
Piece with probable repair of the hole above the king's head and minor scratches on the portrait.
A rare and sought-after type.
