In 1528, after a gap of almost fifty years, the Torun mint reopens. The same year it begins minting a number of denominations, including trojaks.
These are issues for the Prussian lands, which from 1530, due to the unification of these coins with Crown issues, circulate throughout the Republic. And it is from this first vintage of Torun coins, used throughout Poland, that this coin comes.
A very rare vintage of 1530.
A variety with a large king's head in a cap and the characteristic TOCIVS notation.
We have had this vintage only 2 times in our history, this variety is offered to you for the first time.
Variant with PRVSS and triangles at the denomination (instead of the triangles or rosettes described in the Iger catalog).
A naturally circulated piece, without defects, in an even patina.
Silver, diameter 20.5 mm, weight 2.58 g.
